Things are certainly heating up for the players Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures with all the developments currently happening with the game. We'll keep you posted with more news and updates.

The Age of Conan franchise already bagged several awards including Gamespots' Best MMO of E3 2005, and was named "Most Anticipated MMO of 2006" by several game industry publications. Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures is scheduled for a Windows release in Q4 2006.

They haven't mentioned a specific time as to when these changes will take effect, but you'll definitely want to be prepared for it. Grow stronger and more skillful as you progress through the game, because when PvP Mayhem comes to Hyboria, you definitely don't want to end up on the wrong end of the sword.

It seems that Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures (an Xbox 360 version is in the works) has already drawn the attention of the more unsavory denizens of the internet - so much so that Funcom has released a warning to gamers about phishing and scam attempts.

This is an awesome move by the guys from Funcom as it potentially expands the user base of the game. So if you don't have a credit card but want to play Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, you might want to look into the different payment schemes offered by PayByCash to see if they have a more attractive option for you.

Age of Conan adopters from several European countries would have to dish out 13 Euros monthly, 36 Euros for 3 months, or 76 Euros for six months of subscription. In the UK, it's £9 monthly, £25 for three months, and £46 for half a year.
